A hangar for a Boeing 747 was designed and constructed within an impressive 12-week timeframe to meeting the stringent deadlines of ASTA and Continental Airlines. The steel fabrication took place in Craigieburn, Victoria, utilizing Starch’s patented post-tension stressed arch technology, which allows for efficient low-height construction. The hangar’s functionality and safety were further enhanced by the installation of advance systems, including a state-of-the-art deluge fire suppression system and comprehensive maintenance docking system.
