Constructing a hangar for two Boeing 747 aircraft presented significant challenges, including restrictions on using large cranes due to its proximity to an active taxiway. The site’s location added logistical complexities.
Addressing limited labour skills in Malaysia, skilled tradespeople from Australia trained on-site crews and fabrication teams, overcoming local workforce limitations. Despite these obstacles, the project was completed successfully, demonstrating effective problem-solving and coordination.
